As an Innowave JDE Project Manager, this position provides overall leadership for the entire project (both the functional and technical). This leader should be have hands on experience with JD Edwards E1 applications, strong Industry Experience in Manufacturing, Distribution or Finance, and a technical background to lead the development side of the implementation.  To be considered, a candidate should have experience leading large, complex projects with complex development tasks (interfaces, customizations, data conversion).

Skill Sets Required:
 Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
 The Leadership ability and the confidence to manage large projects and a diverse team (executive, functional, technical, 3rd party vendors)
 Extensive experience leading technical teams involved in the creation of enhancements, data conversion, interfaces and customizations (RF experience is a plus.)
 Hands on knowledge of JD Edwards both on the functional side and the technical side.  Highly desirable if this person has a strong knowledge of the Manufacturing/Distribution applications.
 A thorough understanding of the tasks of a project manager: budget analysis, project scheduling using MsProject, issue resolution, reporting and escalation, risk mitigation, and management of deliverables.

Responsibilities:
 Manage the overall project team, both technical and functional; both client and consulting team members.
 Ensure quality deliverables
 Mitigate risk and ensure timely issue resolution through hands problem solving both on the technical side and functional side.
 Manage steering committee meetings
 Manage the budget
 Ensure the technical approach to customizations, interfaces and data conversion is correct and that tasks are completed in a quality and timely manner.
 Ensure the functional approach to all phases of the implementation is sound and that the ending configuration is per best business practices of industry and JD Edwards
 Interface with 3rd party software providers ensuring best integration and timely completion of deliverables.
 Manage resources and the project plan using MsProject.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelors degree, with at least 8 years of consulting experience
• Prior industry experience either in Manufacturing/Distribution or in IT technical Development.
• At least 5 years of project management experience with JD Edwards ERP implementations with a proven track record of successful implementations.  Highly desirable if this candidate has Release 8.12 experience.
